Pats Cat 2 on an MX5200?

I bought a Pats Cat 2 Quick attach set for my MX5200. The directions say they are intended for lift arms from 3.25 to 4 inches. The arms on the MX are 3. However they came with shims and the .75 inch shims appear to do the trick to make them fit. So I'm not sure if I'm missing something... Hmmmm. I need the Cat 2 capacity for my bush hog so dropping to the Pats Cat 1 is not an option.

Has anyone put the Pats Cat 2 on their MX? Did it work out? Any problems

I've got the Cat 1. The shims are to adjust the hook angle relative to the arms. If the hook angle is too low it could encourage the implement to jump out of the hook. You may be able to stack the shims or fabricate a thicker shim. You may also need to lengthen your PTO shaft and get a longer top link - I did.
