I have a County Line purchased from a Tractor Supply store about 3 years ago. We have both a 6" and a 12" auger bit. We live in sand with some clay, but no rocks, so we don't have experience in the tough soils other's have. We have drilled over 1,000 holes for planting trees. This year we are sinking wood posts for a pasture fence. I made an extension for the heavy duty corners, see this thread - Auger extension. So far everything is working fine. I've got about 180 fence posts in the ground, and I'm about 2/3 done.
