Oliver found a New Home

I have had an old 1966 Oliver backhoe for many years but it's job was not digging, it was for moving logs.

"Fat Albert" was powered by a 6 cylinder 78hp Waukesha engine and seemingly had no lifting limit.

Even though my M4900 has only a fraction of the lifting ability, Fat Albert has seen very little use so yesterday he went to a new home.

Kinda sad to part with old iron, but he is going to a nice home.

Oh I will regret it.....already do. I know that it was the right thing to do, but the yard looks mighty lonesome without Fat Albert's presence. Yesterday was a sad day.

Looks like Fat Albert left on a equally old trailer. Those old tractors are pretty tough.

I've always regretted what I didn't buy and what I sold.

Which is why I did not sell Fat Albert, he was adopted by the new owner. It was much easier for me that way.
