This tractor just developed what sounds like a bearing noise in the transmission. It goes away when clutch is depressed and sometimes when it is first running there is no noise, then 10 minutes later it comes back. Seems to be getting louder too. Fluid level is fine. When you let the clutch out, of course the driveshaft starts spinning and the noise is ahead of it. Not a U joint, I'm sure. Sounds like I need to pull the tranny apart, doesn't look like much fun. Anyone have any pointers or possible ideas?
