I recently inherited a farm in East Texas. My father wanted to buy a tractor to mow the place and plant some food plots and some loader work. So he purchased a Kubota M9540 4x4 with cab. We also inherited an Alamo 15ft.
flex-wing mower. When mowing with the Alamo, it will almost vibrate your teeth out. So he bought a new ten foot Kodiak mower and it vibrates the tractor more. The entire cab platform, steering wheel etc. shakes. My cousin
says that the tractor is way too light and his 95hp NH is much heavier and has no vibration, and pulling a baler etc. would beat you to death with the Kubota. We feel foolish because we could have got a NH for a few thousand more. Is there any solution to this problem? Can we get our money back? Gonna call the dealer tomorrow and see what they say. I have noticed now
none of these farmers up here use any of the large Kubotas, mainly just see
compact Kubotas. I know they supposedly put water in the tires before they delivered it now I see why. I would appreciated any help or advice that anyone might be able to give me. Thanks Sick About it in Nacogdoches.
