Hi, new member here and I just wanted to show you all the recent purchase I made off of Craigslist. The seller was about 160 miles away from me but I texted him and drove out there to check it out.
He was asking $50 but when I told him I drove a 2.5 hrs to see the mower he said I must really be into Kubotas and knocked the price down to $10. Needless to say I handed over a 10 spot, loaded the mower and headed back home.
The seller said it had a leaky carb and cracks on the front deck but this didn't affect the grass suction because of the underside configuration of the deck. I removed the carb and cleaned out the jets and bowl and put fresh gas in. I put the carb back on and still got a gas leak so I decided to order a new carb and gaskets and just replace the original one. Waiting on the parts and hopefully the old girl will be joining my current fleet of a Honda HRX217 and a Lawn Boy 10330.
