Hi folks,
Have just brought home a B8200E (gear, 2wd) last night. First 'real' tractor. We just moved to 2.8 flat sunny acres and plan to do some lite farming.
This looks to be a mowing duty machine. Doesn't look like the PTO was used much if at all. A 60" mower is belt then shaft fed by the front PTO.
Cool machine. I paid $3500, which at the time seemed fair, since in this area even beat up old Ford N series still fetch $2500. Hopefully the machine holds up without too much trouble for some time - the tires look tired, but we'll hold on to them for a bit yet.
Any other B8200 owners out there?
I have some immediate questions since I don't have the manuals yet.
Does anyone know the right RPM for mowing?
Does anyone know the length of the PTO top link? Mine is missing, will have to procure a replacement, as one the first things I want to do is get a 3 point scoop bucket to help move some stone and dirt around.
Thanks folks. Looking forward to hanging around and learning.
Ryan
