I have an older L-235-DT It starts and runs fine, but has no power, I can use it if I use low range and low gears, If I use Hi Range 6th Gear it will go on the flat if I go up any Incline 5 or 10 % it will not not pull it self, Also if I push the throttle controll form idle to full it takes 5 or so seconds to reach full RPM,

I took it to Land O Lakes Kubota told them about the problems, The first time they called they said it was cloged fuel filter and crap in the tank, second time they called me they said that was not the problem, they said the pump must be bad, took it off sent it away to be checked, came back they said it was ok, 3rd call they said it was the Injectors, They replaced the Injectors and said it runs fine, I picked it up and when I got it home and took it off the trailer it was no different then took it to them, I called them and they said to bring it back,

Anyone out there got any Ideas what could be wrong ????
Thanks

I'm no diesel expert, however...

Assuming that your mechanics are competent...

Pump is good and timed correctly.
Injectors are new.
No fuel flow restrictions.
Clean tank, replaced fuel lines, fresh fuel, new fuel filter.

The only other thing I can think of would be-

Air flow restriction..or...

Low compression, rings, valves, or both.

Has anyone done a compression check?
Valves adjusted correctly?

Even with low compression it should not lag when throttling up, that would suggest pump or injectors.
If they took the pump off, sent it in, why did they not go ahead and rebuild it anyway?
Locally there is a guy who advertises $350 for a pump rebuild, claims 35 years of diesel experience. I assume they had to charge you near that for removal and check?? why not go all the way anyhow?

If air filter, fuel pump & injectors are good along with fuel filter & good fuel flow from tank to fuel pump then the things left are inj pump timing or poor compression.
