Hello, I was hoping to see if anyone has had this problem with a MX 5400. I have 58 hours on this machine and while using yesterday it lost power and the check engine light came on and a P0087 code came up in the hour meter. I was about a mile from where I was going so I tried to make it home and it died about halfway home. It would turn over or anything at this point for about a minute. It then cranked and ran normal without any problems or check engine light. However another code showed up. The code P2293 along with P0087 continued to be displayed on the hour meter until making it home and parking. I called my dealer this morning and they said the codes were a pressure limiter emergency open(P0087) and pressure limiter abnormality (P2293). Said it could possibly be water or trash in fuel and could have caused damaged to the fuel injectors and they are currently working on one at about $3,000.00 for repair due to this problem. Has anyone had this problem without the cost of replacing the fuel injectors or rail? It was driven exactly 1 mile from when it began. Thanks for any advice.
