What seat/part number are you considering? The seats on the MX series suck, they use crappy springs, something engineered to support the weight of squirrel, maybe cat.
Probably easier than my SVL, I just pulled old seat, swapped bases and installed. It Probably took 20min to take the slide portion off the old base and mount to the new base.
I thinking about adding the air ride seat to my (convertible lol) MX52.
I would recommend and order a durafit seat cover and put that on before putting the seat back into the cab.
Check with your K dealer. The K air ride seat is a Grammar unit. Same seat was cheaper at K dealer than buying from a Grammar dealer.
