Thanks mattwithcats.

Do these do a really good job do you know? I currently bag and empty because I do not like having swaths of dead grass that I get if I dont bag but $460 plus shipping is a lot to spend if it wont give me a clean finish.

New to all this so thanks for good advice.

I suggest getting the three mulching blades first, and see how they work.

Keep the RPM’s up, and go slow....

I have not raked leaves in twenty years,
just run over them, and chop them up.

Takes about three days for the remains to disappear into the lawn...

Do you just use the blades or did you get the full kit? In the Pacific North West deciduous leaves are not so much of the problem as we have mainly fir trees here ... and moss as well as grass cuttings.

moss grows due to the acidic soil caused by the fir trees. You can lessen, eliminate the moss by adding lime to the soil (sweetens it).
with any 'mulching' mower, you need to cut grass more often..'trim' the grass not 'butch cut' it.

'mulching' blades might also be called 'high lift' blades ? I know 'high lift' ones are required for bagging......
