Put down flattened cardboard to slide the deck in and out on. Attach the hook of a ratcheting strap to the edge of the deck or to the hole by the grass chute. You can now pull the deck in and out with very little effort.

The mower shaft is a pain to reattach. Remove the back cover for easier access. Put a work light on the ground so you can see what you are doing. Wipe excess grease off the connector. Wear rubber gloves for a better grip. If it does not want to go on, spin the shaft a bit first

sounds like it'd be easier to buy a second tractor, dedicate it to 'lawn mowing' service .....
..oh wait, that's what i did 2 decades ago..when I though 50 was 'old'.....
I replaced a wheel grease zerk and greased them all, cleaned the drive shaft & coupler and greased them, it's like butter...but my roller wheels rotate 90°, the GR2120 likely does not, hence the cardboard.

I also wipe up uncontained grease whenever I see it, so much easier to grip things without mess...
