I recently purchased a Kubota B4200 with a front end loader. The rear wheels are mounted with the offset outboard (widest stance) and the front wheels are mounted with the offset inboard (narrowest stance). I noticed from the owner's manual that the rear wheels can go either way, but the fronts are only shown in the narrow stance. Then I came across a photo of another B4200 with both front and rear rims in the wide stance, as shown in the attachment. I like the idea of the front wheels mounted wide, as it would make the tractor a more stable. Any thoughts on whether this is something I could do, or is it a sure fire way of ruining the spindles and bearings in the front hubs?
