Hello, I am new to the forum and have been in the Kubota world for about 10 month with a very well preserved B1750HST with a FEL. My main goal has been to find a small 6' backhoe without totally breaking the bank. I have not been successful but did find a very clean 4690. I have the specs, parts info and install manual and the only difference I can find between the 4672 (that is listed for mounting on the B1750) and the 4690 is the length of the boom and the dipperstick for the little extra digging depth. The hyd. cylinders to operate the boom and dipperstick are the same and the mounting ear mast and mast bar are a different. Overall there is only about 61 lbs. difference. My main question I have is does anybody have any experience or knowledge of mounting this on a B1750HST?? Even though this 4690 is a 3 point mount I will be fabricating a subframe to support the BH. I would not want all this weight on the 3 pt. I also know I need to change the top link bracket to the HD style. Any input of the feasibility of this tractor and the 4690 BH would be greatly appreciated. hope to temporally mount the BH on the tractor just to see how the tractor handles the weight which is my main concern. Any digging with this backhoe will be for personal use and mainly light to medium duty at most and probably not very often and only operated by me. Thanks in advance for your input. Oh yea if you know anybody in Northeast Ohio, Geauga county that would like to trade for a good 6 BH I would possible consider this. If anybody has the B series EAR-Mast, mast bars or HD top 3 point bracket for sale I would like to speak with you.
