I don't own a Modern shredder but they are popular sellers at a yard in my area. The ones I've seen have all been hot-dipped galvanized and are said to have a 5-yr warranty. Seem to be premium equipment at reasonable prices for what you get. Made in Beaumont, Tx.
They're part of the Modern Group that provides oilfield supply and rental services. I've interacted with some of their other divisions (trucking, supply, land and offshore tool rentals) and if they are any indication, you should expect outstanding customer service on the farm implements.
I'd be real curious what your experiences might be if you choose to buy Modern.
