hello newbe , want to mount my b670 BH (made for B6100/7100) to a newer 05 b7800 tr, is this possible ,I know I well have to fashion a mount but does not look to overwhelming since the b7800 has the loader subframe .
Reason for this is then I could get rid of older b6100 tractor but use ALL implements on b7800 Plus the 670 BH is a bit much for the smaller 6100 tractor ( it can throw the lil tractor around during use) my thinking is the b670 Back hoe well work better and safer mounted to a larger heavier tractor , in case you don't know the B670 back hoe is self contained with its own PTO pump so hydraulics is not a factor .
since the newer Backhoes are in the 7000 dollar range and buckets for them are close to 400 dollars each ,the math says the lil' b670 backhoe could be retrofitted to the b7800 tractor
anything Im needing to know or am Missing ? or better yet any one ever do this retrofit or similar ?
