I recently purchase a new BX2380 tractor. The dealership dropped it off at my home. Later I realized that one of the MMM pins was missing. The dealership over 40 miles away sent me a new pin, spring, and push in pin. Any tip to installing it. I am an 82 year old man with balance issures. I cannot crawl under without having days of balance issures due to a previous stroke. Do I have to hammer the pin in, or can it be squeezed tight and slid in. Will the main pin go in through the outer hole, then the spring, and pin or some other way. I would never ask this question if I didn't have the balance issue.

Call family, friends, neighbors. Have someone help you. Or call the dealer and explain that this is their issue to fix. Please send someone to fix it. You are 82!

I am not near you or I would come over and do it for you. Lots of these folks on here would.

Sending a pin would likely be reasonable for many customers, but it isn’t reasonable for an 82 year old with balance issues. Absolute worst case, they should send someone by to install it within a week or so when they have someone headed your general direction.

Admittedly, I was in a different business than equipment dealer, but I’ve lost count of how many times I drove way out of my way, stayed late, came in early, or whatever else was needed to take care of a customer who needed help (as opposed to one who was just being a PITA for no reason). If it was fixing something I messed up, didn’t matter if they were being unreasonable or not, it got fixed ASAP regardless whether it was convenient for me or not,

It’s a brand new tractor they assembled incorrectly. With all respect, you’re an old man. They should fix it. I can’t fathom why they didn’t already do that unless they were unaware of your balance issues or they’re not much of a dealership.
