I am almost embarrassed to post this. but here goes. I took over my parents’ acreage about 5 years ago..including my Dad’s L2900, which he’s had since he bought it new in 1999.
i have been using this tractor for 5 years now and diligent in my efforts to know all about it. But I never ever noticed the lever by my right knee. I’m looking at it and says to myself “Self, that icon looks like a mid-PTO thing!” I scuttle underneath the tractor and notice a plastic cap attached with a bolt. I undo It....and discover I have an actual functioning mid-PTO on my tractor! It never even occurred to me that I had one.
Now that I know this....what can I do with it? All I know about mid-PTOs is front mount snowblowers and lawn-mowing decks.
