Before I purchased my new Kubota B2401, I had my son in law, make a implement to put on the FEL on my old tractor to be able to dig up small trees in the woods and transplant them into the yard. I never used it but now I purchased a quick release plate and getting him to weld them together so I can easily attach it to the tractor and go digging. I posted some pictures of the digger and the new quick release plate that I have loaded to take to his shop on Monday. After I get it back I will put some pictures of it attached and try to get to the woods and try it out and see if I can video it, got one of those tri pod phone holders for the cruise will try it out since we didn’t use it for the cruise!

Looking forward to seeing the pictures!
The weather has just been rather, well just a mess here in Eastern NC. Snow just has a very paralyzing effect on this part of the country since these snowstorms only happen maybe once or twice every 5 to 10 years and we don’t have the road equipment to deal with the snow!

Ok let’s do a quick update on my tree digging attachment that my son in law had made for me for my previous tractor. I ordered a quick release weldable front plate and had him weld the release plate to the previous tree scoop. I think it’s going to work much better if I add a weight blast box on the rear of the tractor. My little Kubota B2401DT
can “getter done” but some weight added to the rear will give the much needed weight to the rear wheels so it will dig in to get down under the root system without doing serious damage to the roots.
