Any thoughts on the source of fuel in the engine oil? I replaced the lift pump assuming it was a leaking diaphram without fixing the issue. It will add about a gallon of fuel in 15/20 hours of run time. Tractor has about 1750 hours of operation.

Welcome to OTT
Inj pump is probably the culprit. I think the inj pump plungers have seals that could be leaking fuel into IP camshaft housing(item A).
You are probably right, I was hoping for the little known, very inexpensive and easy answer. Thanks for the reply.

How does it run? You could have an injector that ls leaking, but you'd have a poor running engine in that case.

Performance is good. There is no excessive crank time if it has been setting for a few days with the fuel shut off. The suggestion on the pump seal is probably the answer. Thanks.
