What and where are people mounting bucket hooks on the LA1154 bucket? The lip looks like it would be a weak mount for hooks like Ken's... anyone have some tips on bucket hooks.. preferably bolt on. thanks

My vote is still for Ken's, especially bolt-on. If you have the ability to make your own better you should do so. Many folks here are gifted craftsmen.

I think Kenny offers a great line of quality products and many folks at OTT seem to agree.

LA1154 is a stout loader. If you have particular concerns, maybe check with Ken directly. He's a regular contributor here at OTT @Kennyd4110

Well I am not sure what (particular brand / wll) is appropriate for a machine of that size/brute force. I’ve used Ken’s hooks on multiple items (machine and implement) and I have no complaints. However, on both my B and MX I do have hooks and they are fastened / joined in line with the loader arms…I am not aware of a reason not to put them in line with the loader arms…it’s just my opinion but I think that is a a good a location as any, regardless of the brand of hook. Heres some pics for ideas… 🥃
