Hi, and greetings from England. There is a lever on the rear which operates the implement arms. It consists of a half circle cog or gear and and lever with a pin which engages on the cog. Operating the lever raises and lowers the implement arms.

The problem I have is that is is very slow to use and the lever doesn't allow the arms to reach their top and bottom limit. In order for it to work properly I have to pull on the metal bar witch links the lever box to whatever it is attached to at the other end. Now the procedure is a two handed job.

I looked at about 3 or 4 tractors all with the same lever box before I bought my one and everyone seems to have the same problem. I also looked at a new one at the dealers and raised this issue and even the new ones are like this, so it is a design issue rather that a wear issue.

Has anybody done any modification to theirs to get it working better ? Maybe a different lever system from a different manufacturer as replacement ?

Any advise would be appreciated

I agree that Kubota engineers should have engineered the 3 pt lift height & lower range of movement greater. When I have the feedback rod adjusted for maximum 3 pt lift height then 3 pt won't go as low as I need for my box blade.
