Decided to do the lube change yesterday. The WSM shows the Level Check Bolts on the left and right side gearcase as well as the differential check on the left side. There are no longer level check ports on the gearcases, just fill and drain ports. So I put in a quart on each side and then did the rest of the fill through the differential. The WSM said that it would take about 3 gallons to fill. I tilted the axle and drained it good and it only took 2.5 gallons.

After getting the level up to the diff check port, I put in the fill port bolts and took a break. An hour later, i checked it and it took another quart. After sitting overnight, I put in the last quart. So two gallons until it showed full the first time and then two more quarts after sitting. This afternoon, I checked again and got just a weep of lube out of the diff check port. That’s perfect so I consider it done.
