I have 2 tractors I bought a few years ago. The 1st one I bought has the hydraulic pump putting oil in the engine. Also the brakes don't work and don't have any adjustment left. I ran across another one at an auction that has transmission problems. (parts tractor) The brakes have a lot of adjustment left. I have a parts book, but not a shop manual. The parts book has helped a little with some of the breakdown diagrams. It looks like both tractors are the "newer" version by the serial #'s.
Looking at the tractors it looks like it would be easier to split the tractors at the trans/rearend and swapping them out over taking the axles off to do the brakes. Also I didn't like the sound of the ring and pinion in the one I want to use. If so, does anyone know what I'll run into splitting the tractors? I know I'll have hydraulic lines and wires. Just wondering what couples everything to gether internally.
