So I just bought this used M4700....1125 hours, in good shape, runs well the loader hydraulic cylinders were leaking so the shop that I bought it from pulled them and rebuilt them before I received the tractor. When I got it, the hydraulic fluid was the color of coffee with a ton of creamer. It seems it somehow got water. So today I changed all the hydraulic fluid and changed the two filters. The magnets in the filters had no metal. But one of the filters had a small handful of what looks like gasket material.
Any idea what this is? It seems like some sort of fiber gasket.
