My 20 year old M110 has the push button 3 point control in both the cab and on the rear fender. For some reason, the inside control does not work. I can open the back window and reach out to raise or lower the implement but when plowing snow, that isn't much fun. Does anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot the problem? TIA

Out of curiosity I looked at info on a M105 which seemed to have a identical/very similar 3 pt system

Owners of lower models have often lamented the lack of external 3 pt controls and I am in that group with my M7040.

The WSM is not particularly useful with troubleshooting info on the symptoms you have.

What I see in the electrical section of the WSM is a page showing how the system is laid out and I have attached that page for you.

I expected to see the internal and external controls wired together as any do-it-yourselfer would.

Not so. The external controls feed into an electronic control unit.
The internal controls feed into the same electronic control unit.

It may take a tech with the diagmaster computer and software to see what is happening.

If you can see and touch the wiring to the control unit, make certain any connector is well plugged in.
Check for mouse eaten insulation and also for any blown fuses.

Good luck.
