LX3310HSDC D.I.Y. Third Function

I just had time to edit the video for my D.I.Y third function so I thought I would repost it.

I ended up at $505 in parts which was less than half what the dealer wanted for either brand kit they had in stock just for the kit. I didn't like the looks of the existing kits that mounted the valve on the same side as the loader connections so I designed this to mount inside the loader frame on the left side of the tractor.

When I first finished it my grapple was operating real slow. That turned out to be the MFG had mistakenly installed a restrictor fitting in the cylinder. That turned out to be okay because I drilled it to fine tune the operating time. Without it I was afraid it would slam open and closed which it would have.

I have a similar electrical connection on my diverter valve that I am going to use for my SSQA mod this week, so I was wondering; Is it waterproof with that wire you used?

It should be water resistant. It has a nut with a compression seal.

On my old John Deere I used the same diverter you have and just wired it with two individual wires. I just smeared some silicone in the hole to seal that one.
