lots of water in fuel

i discovered water was getting in my fuel storege barrels today with in 2 mints of my discovery my Kubota started running rough i shut it down and looked it over checked oil coolant fuel level i tryed to start it ands she brow a lot of white smoke and ran it 200 rpms i shut i down and checked oil coolant ext agan it was all mint i drained my found a lot of water out of the 10 gallons of fuel i drained out probably a half galon of it was water i when and got fresh fuel and cleaned my sediment bowl and refilled the tank with clean fuel i tried to start the tractor it just smoked did not start just smoked when i cranked it over.
should i drain and bleed my fuel injectors next or is there some thing elts i should try first?

Drain, replace filter, bleed as per manual, should fix it. Might want to add some diesel fuel conditioner to the tank, as cold weather is coming...:D:D

If your tractors fuel tank has a drain in the bottom similar to my M7040 I'd suggest to drain the water out. I'd also suggest to add a biocide fuel conditioner as you certainly don't want to have to contend with algae growing in your fuel tank. During Summer I told my employee to check coolant in rad on my JD 4255 which has fuel tank in frt of radiator. He mistakenly added 2 gallons of distilled water to fuel tank. I let tractor sit a couple of hrs then drained 2 gallons of water out of tank added biocide and it's been running fine ever since

Might run some "Diesel 911" from Power Service through it. It takes care of most issues like water, algae, bacteria.
