Last fall I bought a L-185, basket case, had water in oil, from a front block blown freeze plug. Just before winter, I got it all back together, and there was still a minute leak (apparently). I put half a can of blue devil in her, and ran it like the directions said. Left it sit in the barn over winter. Yesterday I broke her out of mothballs to till up the garden, before I started her up, I cracked both oil drain plugs, and checked out fluid levels in block and radiator. No major drain in the radiator, and crank case had as much oil as when I had filled it. Only about 5-6 little drips of coolant, in the bottom right plug, may just have been residual water, from having the head off in October(sans cover). Anyway she fired right up, sounded and worked great. A stopped clock is right, twice a day...
