I was plowing snow using a back blade on my 3150 today when out of the blue the lift arm control lever would not raise the blade. Been using this rig for many years without a problem.
It "feels" like less resistance than normal when I move the lever - as if something came disconnected inside the housing. The very simple mechanics going to the housing all appear normal, with nothing loose. Fluid level is normal.
I was able to get the blade lifted by chaining it to the bucket on the front and
rotating the bucket forward.
I'm in the country, miles from repair and trucking would be expensive just to find out there might be a simple remedy.... I hope.
suggestions?

Silly Me ! found the problem and created a new one.
I WAS low on fluid.... but, I might have overfilled the reservoir and now the lift arms go up.... but won't come down. Would an over filled hydraulic fluid reservoir cause this?

ps -I see 82 views and now responses, so maybe this new problem will draw some interest;
