I have a newly acquired B7100HST-D, and they return fitting for the FEL hydraulics on top of the transmission is loose, and leaks. By loose, I mean it turns with no effort when grab the return line.
The cap also leaks, and I have a new O ring on the way for it. There wasn’t a O ring on the parts diagram for the threaded part of the return fitting, and I can’t seam to locate a owners, or WSM for the FEL.
I have come hear for some wisdom before I dive into this project. Should I remove the return fitting, and add some thread sealant, such as teflon tape, or teflon paste to the threads? Is there a proper orientation for the threaded return that the return hose threads into? Currently it’s at 3 o’clock, as you’re sitting on the seat of the tractor, and that orientation makes the most sense to me.
Is there a place to find a owners manual/WSM for the 1630C on line? I found the parts book on Kubotabooks, but unfortunately they don’t have the others available for the 1630C.
Thanks for your time!

The one on my B7200 is loose and I have always figured that was by design. It does not leak. I have a the manuals and if you want a copy I can scan them.

If you have the time, I’d really appreciate the manuals. I have the parts manual, so no need for you to scan that, unless you want it in your arsenal to share. Thanks!
I know the O ring on the cap is shot, and maybe that is where the fluid is coming from. I’m currently waiting for a warm ish day to pressure wash the area off, as the tractor was stored under cover, but not inside, so it has a ton of dirt stuck to the area. I may have other leaks to find as well, but it’s hard to tell with the dirt that is currently there.
