Landplane grader OK for dirt roads?

The dirt roads at my camp need some maintenance. We've got pot holes, ruts and bumps that need to be fixed. We do not have any red clay. They are a sandy material and are packed for the most part. Will a grader like this do the trick? I always see these in discussion about gravel roads but not dirt. I'd hate to take the plunge and be disappointed.
