Land Pride RCF2060 gearbox fill plug

Hello all. When I bought my Kubota tractor about 5 years ago and also bought a Land Pride RCF2060 bush hog. The gearbox fill opening had a metal screw in plug that I lost. The owner's manual says "IMPORTANT: This implement is shipped with a vented dipstick." Mine did not come with one. Should a get a replacement or just go with a metal plug. And if the plug is ok, what is the type of bolt should I get. Thanks for any help. Raleigh.

It needs to have a vented plug for gearboxes. It's not really a dipstick, at least the one on my RCD1884 cutter wasn't. Check McMaster Carr.

It is a dipstick and your dealer should have swapped the sealed plug for the vented dip stick before delivery.

Here is the correct part number: 826-491-C

Get the correct vented dipstick and save yourself leaking seal issues in the long term
