I bought 2 ram seal kits for my LA402 loader on a B2710. Everything was pretty easy until I tried to install the center seal on the piston between the 2 snap rings. I stretched it with a transmission funnel and it worked fine but now the seal isn't shrinking back as I thought it would. Are those rings available by themselves or will I need to buy a new complete seal kit? And when I get new ones how in the heck do I install them without stretching them out? It would have been easier if Kubota made the piston in 2 pieces.

The way I do those are; put them in a cup of water and use a microwave to heat the water up. Have everything ready for install. Fight the seal back on the piston and then wrap several layers of electrical tape around that seal and then put a hose clamp on it tightened down (not too tight) and then throw it the freezer for an hour or if it's cold enough outside.

And the kits are kits, you have no option to buy individual pieces.

Set piston with ring in hot water for a few minutes, then tape it as suggested.
I had the same issue. I set them in hot water toothen kind of spiral them on. Stretches them the least.
