I recently purchased a M7040 and am looking to put a loader on it. I found a LA1154 (off of a M7060) that comes with the valving and joystick but was told that the valve block is different on the M7060. Does anybody have any info they could share or know what may be different between the LA1153 and the LA1154? Thanks.

I suggest you spend some time on the Messicks web site looking at part numbers for both models. It will show you if they are different so you at least know that for certain.
I have a M7040 with cab and FEL. Also have the FEL WSM.
Once thing I have learned is that the hydraulic pressure goes to the FEL first then to the 3 pt and remotes. If you are adjusting the hydraulic pressure and only concentrate on the relief valve above the 3 pt, should the loader relief valve be set low, the adjustment for the rear remotes and 3 pt will accomplish nothing. The main hydraulic circuit goes first to the loader valve and then by a power beyond port to the rear remotes and 3 pt.

After viewing parts schematics valve is the same part number(YW236-00104) for certain serial ranges for LA1154 sn <=EO271.
I think the only real differences in any of the the valves could be GPM flow & relief valve pressure settings.
