Hello all we have an L4760 tractor that was running in the field when the tractor indicated low fuel, we continued on for a few minutes, filled the tractor up. going back to the field the tractor ran for an hour and started to stumble until it shut off and would not come back on.

we have attempted the following
took the supply line off the sight bowl loose and blew compressed air back through the tank to ensure fuel was flowing
removed the sight bowl and cleaned the reinstall
filled the sight bowl through the tank with compressed air.
removed the supply line from the sight bowl to the fuel filter and blew it out with air.
removed fuel filter to ensure no blocks from the tank
primed and replaced new fuel filter
opened the bleeder valve on top of the fuel filter
no fuel coming out of the bleeder valve after it is opened

You should be fine. Keep the bleeder open on the spin on filter housing a few turns. It vents back to the tank so you probably wont see fuel. Listen if you can for the fuel to vent back to the tank. It may take a while. The lift pump should bleed all the air out. I had this happen once and you just have to let the little pump move all the air out of the system. Then once you can hear it dribbling back into the tank close off the bleeder, and try to start it.

Do not try either.
