Had a bird nest fire next to the manifold which burned the two tubes running from the muffler to the sensor in front I replaced the tubes and sensor and when I started the engine it went inrto a regen cycle for about 20 minutes, when the regen stoped, I droped the revs down to 2000 and thought everytiing was fine but one minute later it went into another regen.....after that cycle it it did the same thing( 3 regens in a row).
Ideas?

I am suspicious that the wiring was also damaged by the fire. Perhaps sending some sort of signal to the computer that the filter is dirty. I would see how the wire from the sensor is routed and inspect the wire harness for any damage. I would probably even open up the wire loom to inspect the internal wires for insulation damage.

But first make sure any wire termination points are not damaged near the fire area.

Good luck!
