L47 implements

Hey new to this forum, I'm tossing around the idea of a L47. I own a small landscape company and would use it for small projects as I don't really take on big work. I'm wondering if people run implements on the front of the machine like a Harley rake or auger? I've tried looking for pictures of videos online but didn't find much. Do they have enough hydraulics to run skid steer attachments up front or just on the 3pt?

In general, skid steer attachments are too heavy and require more flow than tractors can supply with their on-board hydraulics. The lack of oil cooler and proper valving complicates using motors, especially with high speeding momentum.
That said, there are SSQA post hole augers available that can be matched to your tractor. Land Pride offers the SA20 and maybe another model. Auger Torque, for one, offers one that can be converted to mix concrete. There is a regular on here that drills quite a bit. You can search with member 'NHSledDog' and keyword 'auger' and see what he's done. If I had many holes to drill, I'd go with front mount. I've used a 3pt auger a couple of times and it leaves a lot to desire.
I'm not familiar with Harley rakes enough to know if you could make one work.

Thanks for the response. I don't have a tractor yet just weighing my options. Not sure how often I would even use implements but I have no knowledge on these things. I see Harley rake attachments for the 3pt hitch for tractors. Any1 use them before? Is the backhoe easy to take on and off from a TLB?

I read people write it's quick and easy with a little practice. You have to install the 3pt hardware each time you swap, and they say it takes the most time. Be aware that the 3pt hardware is not included standard on the L47. It's about $500 unless you bargain with the dealer.
BTW, I'm not sure SSQA is standard on the L47 loader either. But it would be handy if you ever need forks, grapple etc.

If you search on YouTube, I believe Tractor Time with Tim has done a few videos with a PTO driven power rake, if that’s what you are looking for.

If it's similar to the M59 you can remove the BH and install the 3PH in 15 min. The BH has 2 pins and no tools required to mount/dismount.

I recommend storing on a level concrete floor and keeping the 3PH parts on a shelf. Read the manual too, there's a simple trick that makes BH installation easier.
