Based on research, I'm considering hydraulic fluid and filter change (overdue anyway) before turning over to kubota dealership for diagnosis and repair for sluggish hydraulics. I'm hoping the fluid and filter change may correct the problem, but am concerned about spending +$200 on kubota fluid and filter then still taking to dealership. Question: if dealership has to replace hydraulic pump, is it necessary to drain and lose my fresh $200 fluid and filter? Can a repair be made without losing all of the fluid?
