Hi guys, new to Kubota ownership, having had a few Masseys. I bought this tractor with pto being temperamental and found it only had 20 litres of oil in gearbox so topped it up to 39 in the hope that's all it was. Alas it is still not working properly and although does turn, it was only turning at 140 rpm.
Any one got any pointers as i have read you can adjust it to bring pressure up. Or is there a gauze or strainer somewhere worth looking at?
Ok another quick update, pto turns at 540 rpm (got a strobe app) when under no load, but virtually stops when any load is introduced, which says clutch pack to me,but I pray im wrong.
I understand you have to bring pressure up on regulator to 370psi, which i will check once I can find the correct adaptor for my guage, but the screw it pretty much maxed clockwise anyway, so could it be that it's bypassing too early?? Just trying to climate all the simple stuff before giving a blank cheque to my local indy.
Cheers
Charlie
