Sorry to bring up the subject of snow in August but I am looking for some feedback from owners of L3540 tractors with front mount blowers.

Am I going to regret going with a wider 72" blower?

What accessories have you found essential? (loaded tires, tire chains etc.)

I just bought a 3540 and was talked out of the front snowblower. The front FEL has so many uses, a shame to see it down for half the year because of that snowblower up front. I didn't like the idea of backing into the snow either so went with an Erskine tow behind snowblower. I have not taken possession yet of either tractor nor blower, but I'll let you know how it goes.

I don't think that when thinking of moving snow that you'd regret going wider, and it would then be cutting outside your width. Whereas I'll be driving over the snow I'll be blowing. No big deal though; I don't mind tire tracks.

I use the tractor in the summer primarily for landscape/estate tractor work so the Front end Loader really does not have much use for me in the winter. BTW, Love the way the loader detaches. If you hear of any "just like new" L2195A blowers out there, I am interested.
