L3430 HST Neutral

Hi everyone.

I have a L3430 and for the most part it runs great. It's up to date on it's service but it has been doing this every now and then but finally not has gotten so bad that I cannot even start the tractor anymore (no turning over I just turn the key and it beeps at me). I checked the seat switch I think it is bad (I want to bypass it if anyone knows the best way to please let me know) I had also attempted to bypassing it by taking a small piece of copper and taking it from one terminal to the other however there are 3 and I would need a wiring diagram to figure out of the 2nd terminal is. What could be wrong with it that it's throwing this and how could I fix it.

Forget about messing with the seat switch for a "No Crank" complaint, it has nothing to do with that circuit.
You did not list whether your tractor is a Hydro or Gear drive unit, it makes a difference on the safety switches.

What's the best way for me to know I just went home from the farm for the night

I have found neutral need not be selected to start my tractor. It did take a few times to remember to depress the clutch. The starter will not operate unless I do. Check your clutch switch. The seat switch only seems to present a problem when the tractor is in motion. You might also check the PTO switch but I think it only cares when nobody is in the seat.
