Ok, so I posted this in Service, Repair and Maintenance and only got one response, figured I'd try posting here and see if anyone else has any comments / advice.
I'm looking at a 2005 L3430 for sale. The previous owner ran it low on coolant, overheated the engine, blew out the radiator and cap.
Has 1104 hours on it. No compression, won't start. Turns over easy, tries to start, but no worky.
I'm hoping it's a blown head gasket and not in need of a full engine rebuild.
Any insight ??
Should I be planning on a full rebuild here or just a head gasket / head job ???
Has a nice loader on it, price is GOOD. Needs front tars.
Thanks !
