The L3302 is new, about 25 hours and tonight after a long day of work I cracked a beer, slipped into some crocs and shorts and cut 5 acres of 2-3 foot tall grass just after dark. I mention the crocs and shorts, because I ALWAYS wear jeans and boots on the tractor.

Anyways, I noticed the floor was pretty warm and the hump between my feet was almost hot! Even felt heat on my shins when the wind hit just right.

Fluids all good and gauge never moved, is this just normal and I’ve never noticed in boots?

Assuming you have bare steel floorboards, probably normal. The HST and hydraulic lines get quite hot. , and if you don't have anything between the metal floor and you it'll get toasty.

Thanks you!

this is an online photo cause I’m not going back out tonight, but this is what the floor looks like. That raised center with the trans dipstick in it is what got the hottest.

My L2350DT gets quite warm in those areas as well if I've been working the tractor pretty hard for several hours. Whether or not that is 'normal' I suppose would depend on just HOW hot it is getting.

I'll take my IR gun one day and measure mine, but I'd 'guess' transmission case is probably in the 150°F range. Definintely make you pull away if you touch it with hand or legs.
