I am new to the site and new to Kubota equipment. I recently picked up an L2850 GST. with 650 FEL and Bradco 8md2 . I was told that machine needed clutch when I picked it up. So as soon as i Got it to my shop I dropped Trans fluid and filters, split tractor and replaced clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and had flywheel surfaced. reassembled it and installed new udt and filters. The issue i have is the same as before I replaced clutch. If i start machine and put in any gear and engage shuttle shifter forward or backward tractor engages and moves and then immediately begins to slip and power steering fails at same time. If I turn steering wheel back and forth while trans is slipping i can feel a shudder in trans like it is trying to engage. There is no air or foam in fluid as if it was sucking air. If i open up fill cap on trans Shaft is visibly spinning inside trans case until it begins slipping and then shaft stops. I believe from reading some other posts on site i might want to consider going after o-rings in wet clutch. Any tips or advise I would really appreciate. Sorry for the long post.
