I have a L2550 that seems to load the hyd pump when the three point lift is in the top or highest position. I made a stop and moved it down just a little so that the control lever will not move all the way to the top and this stoped it from doing this. This is fine except now my lift doesn't lift all the way to the top. I notice a rod that my parts book calls a feed-back rod that attaches to the rear lift arm on the left side and goes toward the front of the hyd system. This rod does have some adjustment on it. What part does this feed-back rod play and could this being out of adjustment be my problem?
Also, the selector on the hyd block seems to be in the right position according to the manual. I have no loader or any external hyd attached.
Thanks for any help.

If memory serves me correctly I had a couple of the l series do this when I worked for the local kubota dealer I think all I had to do was adjust the feed back rod and this solved the problem. One word of caution only adjust a little at a time because you can go to far and your hitch will now go all the way up.
