On my 2023 L2501f there is the extra unused female plug evidently for a rear work light. I can't find it in my manual as to what type receptical it is but looks like it's made for spade type male plug and the spades are at intersecting right angles to each other.... kind of like the letter "T" with two connections. Anyone know what type this is or maybe where to find one? I haven't tried my dealer yet as it will probably be a week or two before I'm out that way.

Tks...

Auxiliary lights, prewired to the fuse box. I've got a plug that fits into the stock harness somewhere. I'll try to dig it up and get a part number.

Thanks Speed25. I may have found them. I searched for "2-Pin Power T-Male/Female Connector". They look the same on Amazon. Others sell them also. I just didn't know what to call it and came upon a post here that identified it. If you know yours fits the Kubota plug a part number would be nice but don't go out of your way just to find it.

The part numbers have faded off, but I've got the connector and the crimp terminals new in the bag (from Valley Enterprises is all I know). If you want it, just PM me an address to mail them to and I'll pop them in an envelope.

Thanks Speed25. Yes, I would like to get the male plug for the L2501. I clicked on your user name and did not see how to "PM" a member. I did see a "start conversation", maybe that's it? It looked suspiciously like I might be posting on the forum rather than a PM and didn't want to give the AI bots any more information than they already have  . If "start conversation" is how I PM you let me know.

Thanks...

Yes to the “start conversation” is the way to private message someone. And it does look like a thread, but only the people in the conversation are able to see it.

Update....'
I received the kubota plug from Speed25 and finally finished installing it between rains. Worked perfect! Thanks Speed25.

The plug Speed25 sent me was from Valley Enterprises but if there were any numbers to identify the part they are long gone. I visited their site but could not find a match... mostly because they have plugs that look like them but do not show the ends. The brass spades in them are aligned several different ways and Kubota uses one that seemingly no one else uses or sales. I'm sure Kubota spent many many hours of searching to find one that no one else uses and then probably bought all of them off of the market.

If you need one, good luck. Probably better to just remove the spade connectors from inside the original and install them in one that you can get both female and male plugs. It's easy to remove them when they're not under a tractor fender and working upside down. Might be a real pain otherwise. If you go this route instead of just cutting off the offending Kubota plug and installing a new one, buy a Male/Female plug that looks similar and look at how its assembled. Very easy to use a jewellerys screwdriver or similar probe and release the brass spade inside of them and they will pull out by the wire. You may have to re-raise the tiny metal flap that you had to push down to get it out so that it will stay inside the new plastic part. The brass seems quite soft and doesn't want to spring back up enough when pushed down to get the spade out.

Hope this helps someone looking for one.

Wish I could figure out where I found that connector in the first place. Ironically, I have the same connector in the rear of my old Toyota, so maybe it's a Japanese thing. Glad you put the connector to use and got everything working!
