Recently had the axle case a part to replace some bearings, gear, shaft and seal.
While prepping to paint it I may have disturbed some rust.
I thought the leak was at the gasket where it collected. I removed the wheel for closer inspection and disassembly and the leak is actually at the weld.
Any recommendations for fixing it?
JB weld, stick, or flux core?
Repair in place or remove from the tractor?
There’s an hour or less since reassembly, if I remove the case for repair, can I reuse the seal or should it be replaced?
