Hi,

New to the site. I have an L2350 that I have not fired up since last fall. Went to start it up and no go. I have lesarned from the past that the clutch safety switch must be adusted properly to start. I noticed that it was not even moving when I pushed the clutch in. I put it coin between the linkage and the switch and it fired up. Could not put in gear like the clutch is not disengaging. Shut it off put it in gear and hit the key tractor wants to move. Is my linkage frozen or do I have a bigger problem. Any ideas on trouble shooting or resolving my problem??

It sounds like the clutch disk has rusted and stuck to the flywheel. Sometimes if the rust is not to severe you can break them free. Some possible solutions.
Try jacking up a back wheel. Have clutch pedal fully depressed and rocking back tire back and forth. Or if you can get the tractor to start with the transmission in gear, try driving the tractor around with the clutch pedal down and keep hitting the brakes. Or anything else you can think of to put a load on the tractor with the clutch pedal down.

After reading about the frozen clutch to flywheel issue and trying the wheel rocking tip I am thinking I need to find someone to replace the clutch. Looking for a source in Pierce County to do the work. Any suggestions?
