I am running a 5' tiller on my L225 (2wd) and the PTO just stops from time to time. I have the slip clutch on the tiller set the the lightest setting and it does not slip, nut the PTO spline coming out of the tractor actually stops while the PTO is engaged? Is this normal, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, does it hurt anything whe it happens? I till a a lot of gardens and just bought this tractor for the purpose of doing larger gardens, and am concerned that if this is a regular thing, it may not be good for the tractor.
I tilled my own garden to make sure it is working properly before taking her out on the road to go to work, and noticed it. I'm like "A built in slip clutch?" What in the world is this, and is it engaging or working frequently (one every 3-5 minutes) causing harm to the clutch or PTO?
Thanks
